GRASS FIRES
The Christchurch Fire Brigade attended three grass fires on vacant sections yesterday. None caused damage. At 10.51 a.m. one unit from Sockburn attended a fire in Buchanans road. At 3.58 one unit from St. Albans attended a fire at 520 Hills road, a section owned by Mrs Philips. The third fire was in Hampshire street, Aranui, which one unit from Central attended-
