Missiles For R.A.N. Ships?

(NS. Press Association—Copyngtiti LONDON. January 12. Australian destroyers may be equipped with top-secret Royal Navy guided missile weapons not yet installed in any British ship, according to the Chief of the Australian Naval Staff (Vice-Admiral Henry Burrell).

They would be used to modernise Australia’s striking power until the nuclear-age warships now under construction are completed. Admiral Burrell and other members of a naval mission are in England to inspect the secret weapons. Next month the mission will fly to America to inspect United States Navy weapons.
