Many Injuries In Auckland

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 12.

Many Aucklanders are suffering toe Injuries from the blades of motor-mowers More people have been treated at the hospitals for this reason in recent weeks than for cuts to feet from broken glass. At present the stream of people appearing in casualty waiting rooms, has reached almost epidemic proportions. Dozens of people have lost toes in clashes with their mowers especially over the Christmas and New Year period Many more have been luckier and have escaped with gashes needing only a few stitches-
