Great Sensation In Cup

The Wingatui stayer. Great Sensation, which was a surprise defection from the Dunedin Cup, to be run on his home track on Boxing Day, has been paid up for in the Timaru Cup, to be run at Washdyke on the first day of the South Canterbury 'Jockey Club’s summer meeting on Tuesday, December 29. Great Sensation is top-weight with 9-5 in the Timaru Cup, the first leg of the T.A.B. double. The second leg of this double will be the Rangitata Handicap, in which' the Oamaru sprinter.
