Student Petition To Munro

The University of British Columbia Student Council is sending a petition signed by 20,000 Canadian university students to the United Nations Special Representative on Hungary (Sir Leslie Munro), the Canadian press has reported. The petition asks support in an effort to save the lives of 150 Hungarian students allegedly
for their part in the 1956 rising.
presence of a large part of Hungary's Sopron University faculty of forestry, relocated in Vancouver after the 1956 revolt.
