Henderson beat K.’ Wells, 6-1; M. Voice beat R. McLennan, 6-1: R. Bedford beat W Cox, 6-3. Men’s doubles: R. and B. Henderson beat Bigneli and Wells. 9-5; Voice and Bedford beat McLennan and Cox, 9-6. Women’s singles: Mrs M. Begg last to Mrs B. Pickering, 2-6; Miss D. Macartney beat Mrs B. Bigneli, 6-4; Miss H. Voice beat Mrs W. Cox,. 6-1; Miss A. Macartney lost to Mrs L McGrath, 4-6. Women’s doubles: Mrs Begg and Miss Macartney lost to Mrs Pickering and Mrs Bigneli, 8-9; Misses Voice and Macartney lost to Mrs Cox and Mrs McGrath, 8-9.
