Labour M.P. Dies In Strasbourg
(Ree. 8 p.m.) STRASBOURG, November The president of the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe and British Labour member of Parliament, Mr John Edwards, died yesterday from a heart attack. His death will mean a byelection at Brighouse and Spenborough, which he held by a slender majority of 47 votes—the third lowest—in the General Election against a united LiberalConservative. He had a majority of 1626 in the 1955 election.
