GUILTY OF BITING MAN’S EAR

Mechanic Remanded For Sentence (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 17. ' A jury in the Supreme Court at Auckland today found Norman Htinter Peterson, aged 34, a motor mechanic, guilty of biting off part of the left ear of David Grey Brassey at an engagement party at Orakei on August 8. Peterson was charged with assault so as to cause actual bodily harm. He pleaded not guilty. Mr Justice Turner remanded Peterson for sentence.
