COUNTY COUNCILS COUNTY OF CHEVIOT. NOTICE OF BY-LAW TO BE MADE BY SPECIAL ORDER. The Cheviot County Council hereby gives Public Notice that at a Special Meeting of the council, convened for the purpose and held at the Council Chambers. Cheviot, on Friday, October 9. 1959, it was resolved by way of Special Order to make and ordain a by-law. The object and purport of the by-law is to provide that no building shall be erected in the townships of Cheviot, Parnassus. Domett, Gore Bay, or Mina unless a permit from the council is first obtained, and that such permit will not be issued unless the proposed building conforms to certain standards set out in the bylaw. A copy of the proposed by-law and the Special Order are deposited at the County Office Cheviot, and are open for the inspection of the public during office hours until Friday, November 6, 1959. It is hereby further publicly notified that the foregoing resolution relating to the proposed bylaw will be submitted to the next ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Cheviot, at 10 a.m. on Monday, November’9, 1959, for conformation as a Special Order.
