ATTRACTIONS FOR INVESTORS
Americans’ Outlook (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Ocober 2. The chairman of the New York Stock Exchange (Mr Keith Funston) listed four conditions most likely to make a country attractive to the United State's investor when he attended this morning’s call of the Wellington Stock Exchange. The conditions were:— The investor has to feel he can get his dividends out and repatriate his capital when he so desires. He must have confidence in the future of business in that country. He must have confidence in the integrity of the people and the businessmen. The securities have to give him a field that is attractive compared with similar investment in the United States. The last-mentioned requirement did not mean that the immediate yield had to be greater, but could depend on expansion prospects, he said.
