Rail-Car Time-Tables Altered
Rail-car schedules for the north line service have been revised and a new time-table will operate from November 2. The Picton-Christchurch railcar will then arrive in Christchurch at 4.30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier, and the ChristchurchPicton rail-car will arrive at Picton at 4 p.m., 21 minutes earlier. From November 1 to the end of April, express goods trains with passenger accommodation attached will leave Christchurch at 5.30 p.m. and Picton at 6 p.m. on Sundays. From November 2, the 6.55 a.m. Rangiora - Christchurch and the 5.20 p.m. Christchurch-Rangiora services will be worked by railcar.
