Milk Deliveries
Sir, —Evidently your correspondent, “Vigilant,” is unaware of the 2d a quart subsidy when he says he pays for their milk. So long as we have these subsidies on milk, bread, butter, etc., we will get it where and how it is considered nationally economic, not where or how we would like it. Such is the freedom of our welfare state. —Yours, etc., E K October 1, 1959.
