Milne And Choyce Dividend Down

“The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND, September 5.

Milne and Choyce, Ltd., Auckland, has reduced its dividend from 12J per cent, to 11 per cent, for the year ended July 31. The company paid 12J per cent, in 1956-57 and 1957-58, while it paid 11 per cent in 1955-56. A final dividend of 6 per cent, against a final payment of 7i per cent, last year, has been recommended following the payment of a 5 per cent, interim dividend in April of this year. The final dividend will be payable on October 29 and the shares become ex dividend on October 22.

Last year, consolidated net profit of the company rose by 12.3 per cent, to £84,814, while turnover passed the £2.5 million mark.
