Fined For Disorderly Behaviour

William Edward Middleton, Patrick Traynor and Frederick Noei McMahon, all seamen, were charged at the Magistrate’s Court a t Lyttelton yesterday with behaving in a disorderly manner while drunk in Revell's Cafe. Norwich quay. They pleaded guilty and were each fined £2 by Messrs F. G. Briggs and R. H. Duff, Justices of the Peace. Senior-Sergeant D. G. M. Simpson told the Court that the men were members of the crew of the overseas ship Rangitiki. At midnight the previous night they had stared an argument in the cafe and a fight followed.
