Rabbits
Sir, —I read in today’s issue of the Darfield Rabbit Control Committee’s opposition to a rabbit board proposal. The presumed scarcity of rabbits here is partly due to the Rabbit Destruction Council’s policy being carried out in the majority of other areas. Why should not the areas between the Ashley and the Rakaia rivers pay their fair share towards the total destruction of this pest?—Yours, etc., B. FAIR. August 25, 1959.
