Totalisator At Bisley?

(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 25. A plan to run Bisley—the mecca of rifle shooting—like a race meeting with totalisator bets is being urged by Major Robin Fulton, one of Britain’s best shots. Totalisator betting would be on the final of the Queen’s Prize and “form guides” at half a crown each would be provided with the idea of making Bisley “brighter ’ Major Fulton, who in 1958 was the winner of the Queen’s Prize and runner-up this year, has put his plan to the National Rifle Association’s council. He suggests that the final should be on the lines of a point-to-point meeting and the totalisator would pay out on the first four or five places.
