Rambler Popular

The demand for low-priced and smaller cars in America can be seen from the popularity of the Nash Rambler. Production of the 1959 model Rambler was more than double the record output for the 1958 model. Altogether 374,240 units were produced, compared with 162.182 units produced during 1958. Because of the tremendous demand for Ramblers, factories worked in almost continuous two and three shifts in six-day working schedules. Production for the 1960 model will begin at the end of the month.
