ADVISERS ON CAREERS
Special Course Organised
A careers advisers’ training course has been organised by the Education Department to take place at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, from August 24 to 28. A series of one and a half shows and three-hour lectures will be given by vocational guidance officers, school teachers and educationists.
Fifteen lectures will be given in the five days. They will concern mainly the trends on advisory and careers information matters, such as the interests, aptitudes and employment difficulties of young peopleThe course will be officially opened at 9 a.m. on August 24 Lectures will be held through each day until a summing-up finishes the course on August 28.
