Raffle For Hall Funds

All members of the general committee of Town Hall Promotion agreed to take 50 books in the raffle which has been organised to raise funds for the Christchurch Town Hall, at a meeting of the committee last evening. These books will be distributed to the largest number of organisations and firms possible. Sponsoring members of Town Hall Promotion will be asked to take 20 books each.

A total of 4000 books had been printed for a start, said Mr E. F. Wilde, chairman of the raffle committee. A number of firms in Christchurch had offered to take parcels of the books.
