COMPETITION POINTS

A Grade Won By Pioneer With the completion of the fourteenth round of the Canterbury Billiards Association’s competitions. A grade and C grade, section 11, are completed. In A grade the Pioneer team (D. Higgins, E. Simons and N Prince) emerged the winner for the third year in succession, and again Richmond was runner-up. Final points were:—Pioneer Amateur Sports Club 33, Richmond W.M.C. 30, Automobile Association 26, Workingmen's Club 23, Christchurch R.S.A. 22, St. Albans Recreation Club 13, Woolston W.M.C. 12 New Brighton W.M.C. 10. In C grade, section 11, the w'inner was P. and T. (R. Anderson, B. Narbey and W. Clark) and the final points were:—P. and T. 32, Ashburton 30, Woolston W.M.C. 23, Papanui R.S.A. 19, New Brighton W.M.C. 18, Tramway 17. St. Albans Rec. 17. Lyttelton Railway 12. This team must now await the emergence of the winner of the section I group, when the final will be played. The leading teams in the other grades are:—

B Grade.—Fitzgerald 33, R.S.A. 29. Ashburton 27. A.A.C. 26. C Grade.—Section I: P. and T. 33 St. Albans Library 30, N.B.R.S.A 28, R.S.A. (1) 25.

D Grade.—N.B.W.M.C. 36, W.M.C. 31, Woolston W.M.C. 26.
