Foley scored two good tries, and Hanham one.

Competently led by the captain. Mannix, the St. Bede’s College pack played well both in the tight and loose. Wilkins, playing in the front row, led some determined rushes.

The St. ' Bede's College backs showed -good penetration, and they were quick to break through. Jefferson, the first five-eighths, although not quite successful as he might have been with his place kicks, made some good use of up-an-under kicks, and played an impressive game. Gledhill, at centre three-quarters, played an outstanding game and went in hard and low with his tackling. The full-back. Dyer, played well, and some of his line kicking was long and accurate. One of the outstanding players In the Christ’s College team was the full-back, Armstrong, whose defence was excellent. Collins, the first five-eighths, was also a tower of strength to his team. Among the Christ's College forwards the captain, Dunster, playing at number eight and Baird, the breakaway, were both impressive. The Play Christ's College hooked the ball from a set scrum near the line, but the ball was mishandled and Foley shot off the side of the scrum, scooped up the ball and dived over near the corner to open the scoring for St, Bede’s College. After St. Bede's Colelge gained possession in a scrum close to the Christ’s College line the ball was held in the back of the scrum before it was snapped up" by Hanham, who barged through three or four players to score 15 minutes after the start of the second half.
