The president of the Arbitration Court (Mr Justice Tyndall) today criticised a reference to the need for a restraint on wages in the Economic Survey presented to Parliament by the Minister of Finance (Mr Nordmeyer) yesterday. “The reference to the need for a restraint on wages while this Court is sitting is rather embarrassing to us, to say the least,” said his Honour.
