Car Goes Over Bank, Killing Driver
(New Ztaiand Pre** Awoctattou) WANGANUI, July 2. A 39-year-old woman was killed yesterday afternoon when her car crashed down a 40ft bank off Valley road, near Raetihi, into the Makotoku stream. She was: Mrs Thelma May Poff, of 37 Queen street. Feilding.
The accident, which occurred about 4.40 p.m., was seen by a schoolboy. He reported it to the police, who recovered the body and car.
