Soccer DEFAULT CLAIM DISALLOWED
Chatham Cup Fixture At Napier /New Zeuiano wt.s, NAPIER, July 2. The first Chatham Cup semi-final, scheduled to be played at Napier last Saturday between Athletic (Napier) and Massey College (Palmerston North), who failed to arrive, will be played at Napier this Saturday. Athletic, through the Hawke’s Bay Football Association, entered a claim to the New Zealand Football Association for a win by default. A telegram rejecting the claim was received yesterday afternoon. It stated that Massey College bad given a satisfactory explanation, and the match would be played at \ Napier this Saturday
