Yesterday’s Frost. Christchurch again had heavy frosts yesterday morning. At the Harewood weather office 10.2 degrees were recorded, but city dwellers were more fortunate with only 8.7 degrees, at the Botanic Gardens. Patches of fog at Christchurch Airport in the morning did not affect flying schedules. Another severe frost, about the same as yesterday’s, was predicted for this morning. The frost would again be accompanied by a fog, a weather officer said.
