TEMPLETON FARM NEEDS
W.D.F.F. Executives’ Report Old gramophone records, ccmics, indoor games and a model railway would be gratefully received by the Templeton Farm Welfare committee, said Mrs C. K. Perry, the committee’s representative from the Canterbury Provincial Executive of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. Mrs Perry was reporting at the executive's recent meeting. Such amusements would be useful when the new hall was ready at the farm, she said. When inmates of the farm were in hospital, visits were much appreciated and W.DF.F. members could be of great service if they undertook this work of charity, said Mrs Perry. A letter of congratulation would be sent to Mrs H. J. Wagner, a recently-appointed life member of the Motukarara branch of the W.D.F.F., the meeting decided. The opening of the new headquarters of the W.D.F.F. in Wellington was described by the president (Mrs H. W. Rule). The recent Dominion conference at Timaru was reported on by Mesdames Rule, R. S. Halligan and T. A. Guy.
