STATE NURSING EXAMINATIONS
Midwifery, Psychiatric Passes (New ZeotanO Press Association) ‘ WELLINGTON, July 1. A nurse from St. Helens Hospital, Christchurch, topped New Zealand in the State examinations for midwives, held last month by the Nurses’ and Midwives’ Board.
She is Nurse M. J. Allan, whose home is in Gisborne.- Shedid her general training at Cook Hospital, Gisborne, and hei maternity course at Queen Victoria Hospital, Invercargill, before going to St, Helens. Passes and partial passes were announced today as follows: St. Helens Hospital, Christchurch.—Passes: Allan, M. J. (honours), top for Dominion; Allison, F. M. S.; Armstrong, D. R.; Chambers, S. L.; Cowan A. C.; Flower, M. E.; Hawthorn, V. M.; Hayes, D. M.; Hillary, J. C.; Kennedy, K. A. (honours); Lim. M. M.; McCormack, M. M.; McGregor, I. H.; Miller, G. E.; Newman, D. R.; Sinclair, J.; Skipper. J. A; Smith, Maureen Teresa: Wilson, K. M.
