Idle And Disorderly.— Patrick Quinn, a workman, aged 54. appeared before ' Messrs F. G. Briggs and R. H, Duff, Justices of the Peace, in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of being idle and disorderly. He pleaded not guilty,* and told the Court that he had sickness benefit money due to him from the Social Security Department. The accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called on within six months.
