Second Earl Runs Brilliant Trial

The New Zealand sprinter. Second Earl, ran a smart trial today at Eagle Farm. Second Earl is preparing for the Doomben Ten Thousand, to be run on July 4 at Doomben over seven furlongs less 93 yards.
Today, ridden by a Brisbane jockey, A. Tindall, his race rider, the New Zealand horse flashed over the half-mile on the two-year-old grass in 48]sec. He began with Merloom and Delta’s Pride and kept with those horses to the home turn. Second Earl sped away and beat Merloom by five lengths with Deltas Pride three lengths away.
