REUNION OF K FORCE

Association To Be Formed

It was decided to form a K Force Association when a K Force reunion was held in Christchurch on Saturday evening. The function, which took the form of a dinner and social, was attended by 130 persaps. The guests of honour were the commanding officer of the Southern Military District (Brigadier J. T. Burrows), the liaison officer for Australian forces attached to Burnham Military Camp (Major T. H. Wilson), the commanding officer of Burnham (Major V. G. Skilton), the president of the Christchurch R.S.A. (Mr A. S. Farrar), and Padre P. W. D. Parr The guests were welcomed by the chairman of the convening committee (Mr R. D. Pool), who spoke of the history of K Force. Other speakers included Brigadier Burrows and Major Williams. The inaugural meeting of the K Force Association will be held in about two weeks.
