Appeals Fail

New South Wales trotting owner - trainer - driver, Brian Walker has failed in his appeal against 12 months’ disqualification after an inquiry into the running of Michael’s Son in a heat of the Victoria Sapling Stakes at the Melbourne Show Grounds on March 28. Walker’s appeal was heard by the Trotting Control Board. ‘Walker, who owns Michael’s Son, also appealed on behalf of the horse, but this appeal was dismissed as well.

Michael’s Son started at 5-4 on favourite and finished fourth in the second heat of the Stakes over one mile.
