RIGHTISTS IN CHINA
Police Break Up Group PEKING. May 6. Chinese police had broken up a “counter-revolutionary" group of ‘‘Rightists plotting against the people” in Wuhan, an important central China industrial city, it was reported today. Since the middle of March the group, calling itself the “Wuhan City Committee of the Kuomintang,” had been meeting secretly in a park at Wuhan, the Communist newspaper “Chang Chiang Daily” said. Kuomintang is the name of the Chinese Nationalist Party headed by President Chiang Kai-shek in Formosa.
