Post Office Promotions
The following Post Office promotions have been announced:—
Mr N. D. C. Grylls, senior supervisor, telegraph branch. Christchurch. has now been promoted to the position of superintendent, telegraph branch, Christchurch, and replaces Mr W. Anderson who retired recently. Mr W. F. Leggott, postmaster. Geraldine, has been promoted to the position of postmaster. Gore. Mr Leggott was until recently postmaster, Papanui. Mr A. F. J. Nash of the postmen’s branch. Christchurch, has been promoted to supervisor, postmen’s branch, Papanui. Mr D. R. Fleming, supervisor, telephone branch. Dunedin, has been transferred to the position of supervisor, telephone branch, Christchurch. He replaces Mr G. R. Crossen who is transferred to supervisor. zone telephone accounts branch, Christchurch. Mr R. H. Boyes, who was formerly postmaster at Hawera, has taken up the position of postmaster at Ashburton.
