A Huddersleld woollen and [worsted manufacturer said today 'that the British wool textile industry would face “quite a lot" iof Chinese competition within two [or three years. I Mr Maurice Barber showed the i Huddersfield Chamber of Commerce a ’ sample of Chinese cloth exported from Shanghai at Ils 6d a yard. ; I He said it “beat the Japanese I hollow.” «
