Cut Price Chinese Vegetables.— Traders in Singapore say that Communist China is expected to ship more than £1,500,000 worth of fresh and dried vegetables to Malaya this year. Chinese cabbages, tomatoes, cauliflowers and turnips are at present being sold in Singapore at prices 50 per cent, below those imported from Indonesia and Indo-China*.—Reuter.
