Typhoid Carrier Discovered

<NZ Press Assoctatton—CopvHght) STELLENBOSCH (Cape Province), March 2. Health authorities have discovered a typhoid carrier believed to have been responsible for the deaths of 85 persons in the Stellenbosch district in the last 40 years. A report to the Stellenbosch Divisional Council from the council’s Health Department, said the typhoid carrier was a coloured woman, aged 75 years. The carrier is confined to her home on a farm where she is undergoing a course of treatment, and she will be kept under observation for the rest of her life.
