Floral Festival

Sir,—l have just returned from visiting the flower snow in Hagley Park a thoroughly tired woman. While congratulating the exhibitors on the many varieg ant beautiful flownrs ‘1 should Hka could not all the tents be numbered so that one can see at a glance what is exhibited? Granted one can buy a programme for Is and there is a plan of the layout This is so indistinct that one can gain little information without (he aid of’a magnifying glam One needs to sit down (if one can find a aeat) and thoroughly study, it I may add that thia same mistake la made at the winter Industries Fair. I stood ta the first queue for the large tent for one hour and when Inside stood another quarter of an hour without moving as people came up from the second entrance and pushed intb our queue. It took another hour to see the exhibits as tnovement was so slow. I hope different arrangements are made for future shows.—Yours, etc, February W, 1969.
