LYTTELTON GAS SUPPLY
Mr E. Turner Chosen As Works Manager
Mr E. W. Turner haj been appointed gasworks manager at Lyttelton. Mr Turner was previously manager for six years, and resigned two years ago. The gas supply in Lyttelton during the -last few days has been very satisfactory, a full Sressure of good-quality gas beig maintained. ’Hie Town Clerk (Mr J. Thompson) said yesterday that there might be instances of gas appliances being out of order after the recent trouble with the supply. In these cases, householders were asked to communicate with the council office and a fitter would be sent to check and adjust their appliances.
