Robert Donat Scholarship
The London premiere of “The Inn of the Sixth Happiness,” which has been received by critics as the best British film since “The Bridge, on the River Kwai," yielded £4500. The money will be used to found a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to perpetuate the memory of Robert Donat, who died after completing his role in the picture; The scholarship for aspiring young actors find actresses will be-competed for in a few weeks’ time. The winner will get, two yean’ free tuition at the R-AJD-A.
