Pamphlet For Consumers
Specially designed for consumer education on the need for extreme care of milk after delivery, with the ultimate aim of removing the cost common cause of complaint —off flavours caused by exposure to sunlight—a six-page folder will soon be issued to 10,000 homes in Christchurch, The Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board has decided to hold a meeting With vendors to discuss the distribution of the pamphlet The meeting will, also discuss any other method of ensuring that the consumer receives his milk supply in the best condition possible. The supervising officer (Mr A. P. Millthorpe) again emphasised that vendors should ensure that bottled milk was at all times protected against sunlight.
