Five Taken To Hospital

(New Zealana Pres* Associations NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 15. Five persons were taken to hospital' after two tars collided at New Plymouth yesterday. Both cars were extensively damaged. One car was driven- by Mrs Ada Elinor Roberts, of 5 Seddon street. New Plymouth. With her as passengers were her 22-year-old son, Mr Evan Priestly Roberts, and her parents Mrs Rachael Annie Evans, aged 71, and Mr George Noel Evans, aged 81, all ot the same address. The.other car was driven by Mr William Henry Nagle, Burgess Park, New Plymouth, who was the only occupant. Mr George Evans was reported to be seriously ill tonight but the condition of the other four was satisfactory. The head-on collision occurred about 2 p.m. on the New Ply-mouth-Egmont village highway about 500 yards from the city boundary.
