Aboard the plane with Dr. Snbar ’rio was Australia’s External Affairs Minister, Mr Richard Casey and Mrs Casey. Mr and Dr subandrio have had almost continuous discussions sin Dr. Subandrio arrived in Australia Good Progress Although close secrecy is surrounding his talks with Australian lea .it is evident that good progress is being made towards better relations between Indonesia and Australia. New trade ties are expec 4 ed to be established as a result of talks to be held in Melbourne today with the Minister for Trade (Mr John McEwen)

The Sydney “Daily Telegraph” in a leading article today, said: “If Dr Subandrio’s remarks at his first Australian press conference are to be given their face value, there should be little cause for any future discord between Australia and Indonesia.”
