THE QUEEN’S STANDARD FLOODLIT.—The Royal Standard always flies above Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle when the Queen is in residence. It has been the custom to lower the Standard at sunset, but the Queen has now directed that it be floodlit from dusk to midnight. In this picture, the Standard is flying over Buckingham Palace on February 3the first night of the floodlighting.
