Two Women In Entourage
Two women secretaries will travel in the Duke of Edinburgh’s entourage when he leaves London on his tour of the Pacific on January 20. They are Miss Julie Vaughan-Hudson, aged 21, and Miss Ann Stevenson, aged 25, a staff secretary at Buckingham
Palace. They will begin the tour by flying to Bombay and will go to Rangoon before visiting other parts of the Pacific. Miss Vaughan-Hudson is a daughter of Mr Rupert VaughanHudson, a consulting surgeon at a Middlesex Hospital. A 1956 debutante, she Is one of the most popular society girls in London. She drives ah old car and enjoys ski-ing and parties. Now under the mundane title of ‘‘lady clerk” she is going on one of the most glamorous of Royal tours, which will last till the end of April.
