N.Z. RAMS FOR CHILE

Two CanterburySheep

Three purebred registered Corriedale rams are expected to leave Lyttelton this week on their way to Chile. The three highpriced rams are from the wellknown Corriedale studs of the estate H. T. Little, Hui Hui, Hawarden, R. M. Thomson, Auchtercairn, Culverden, and the estate J. A. Johnstone, Bushey Park, Palmerston, Otago. The rams will travel from Lyttelton on the Schouten for transhipment at Durban, South Africa, for the port of Punta Arenas, Chile. They have been purchased by the Sociedad Ganadera de Laguna Blanca, which operates a large property near the Straits of Magellan. The rams were selected personally by the general manager of the Sociedad Ganadera de Laguna Blanca, and arrangements for their shipment have been made through the stud stock department of Wright, Stephenson and Company in Christchurch and Wellington.
