LIAISON OFFICER AT UNIVERSITY

16 Applications

Received

Sixteen applications had been received late yesterday afternoon by the University of Canterbury for the position of liaison officer to the university. Applications closed last evening. The position of liaison officer, which has been left vacant by the appointment of Mr G. S. Troup as a senior lecturer to the French department at the university, involves dealing with pupils at post-primary schools and other duties.

All the applications received so far have been from New Zealand. The appointment will probably be made towards the end of February.
