CHINESE CONCERT PIANIST—Fou Ts’ong, a 24-year-old pianist, who arrived in Britain recently from Warsaw, is to make his public concert debut in Britain on January 21 with a television recital. After finishing his course at Warsaw Conservatory, Mr Fou decided not to return to China because he had heard that all Chinese had to do manual labour, which he feared would ruin his hands, and hence his career. Communist agents made an attempt to kidnap him soon after his arrival in Britain.
