SAFE WITH £300 STOLEN

N.A.C. Premises In Blenheim

(New Zealana Press Association) BLENHEIM, January 13. A safe containing about £3OO in cheques and cash was stolen from the National Airways Corporation premises in Queen street last night Most of the £3OO was in cash. Almost simultaneous with the report qf the theft was a notification to the police by a visitor to Blenheim that his car had been removed from its parking place. The police believe that the car was used to take the safe away. . The safe, about 2ft 6in high and about Ift 6in in width and depth, was dragged about 35ft from under the counter in the office through the rear portion of the premises and out the back door. The police believe that at least two men would be required to move the safe.
