FACIAL ECZEMA IN TARANAKI
Extensive Outbreaks Not Expected
NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 12. Extensive outbreaks of facial eczema were not expected in Taranaki this autumn, said a statement issued by the North, Central and South ’ Taranaki Facial Eczema Committees today. Temperatures during November and December were high enough to suggest that facial eczema would occur during the “However,** the state- • 'ment 'said, “the soaking rains in December have considerably reduced the danger. The forecast at the moment is that there is little likelihood of extensive outbreaks of facial eczema occurring in any part of Taranaki this autumn.*”
