ONLY TRACE OF RAIN IN QTY
The intermittent light rain which fell in Christchurch yesterday resulted in only a trace being recorded at the Christchurch weather office.
Canterbury is still badly in need of rain but it appears that unless conditions change suddenly it will not have any in the immediate future, a weather office official said yesterday. The humidity and low cloud ceiling were likely to last today and then it should lift and the weather gradually, he said.
